Having Custom written songs and skit for Retirement Party really made the night special.

The Retirement party was held at the Austin, MN Country Club.

After 40 years of working for Hormel it was time for Gary Ray to retire.

Dan the PianoMan (Gary Ray’s Favorite Piano Player) did a great job writing a script and some custom written songs for a Piano Bar Skit for the executives at Hormel to perform at the retirement party. The executives were excited and nervous to pull this off .  They really wanted to look good.

We did a rehearsal with the guys. Thankfully, they took direction well.  Dan has had many years of writing and making people look good on stage due to his work experience as Musical Director at Second City in Chicago From 1986-1996.

The Ladies got involved in the roast for Gary and his wife, Pat.

The Skit and the songs were a huge success. The laughter was enormous through out the room.

The roast was clean and funny. There was no fear of us going over the top because we knew where the line was. The whole family was there to enjoy the moments.

There was dancing and sing around the pianos after the custom written song and skit were performed.

The whole thing got two thumbs up from Pat.

GIPNA hosted a fundraiser for Independence Park Bungalow.

The fundraiser was a wine and cheese tasting party.

The donations for the silent

auction was overwhelming.

The singing and playing by Dan Gillogly really enhanced the wine and cheese tasting atmosphere.

Once people had the chance to taste the wine and bid at the silent auction Dan got people going by getting them to sing and move on the dance floor.
